Clomid, which is also known to the world as Clomiphene Citrate, is best regarded as an orally administered ovulatory stimulant that is efficacious for minimizing the risk of gynecomastia during the steroid cycle as it employs aromatizable steroids.
Its chemical name is 2-[p-(2-chloro-1,2-diphenylvinyl)phenoxy] triethylamine citrate (1:1) and the chemical formula is C26H28ClNO or C32H36ClNO8 (citrate).
